Værdi Investor Relations Limited (Værdi) is an independent investor relations and capital markets advisory firm uniquely positioned to support the management of private and listed corporates. Alongside our London-based JV partner, Fairvue Partners, we seamlessly support our clients across various sectors and geographies.
We help our clients develop investor relations programmes tailored to their specific needs and strategic visions. We differentiate their investment case by applying our equity story builder process. This helps with an enhanced understanding of the business, builds management credibility and corporate reputation within the financial community, with resultant optimisation of long-term valuations, and expansion in access to capital to fund strategic growth objectives.

Our Story
African economies and capital markets are rapidly developing and becoming more integrated with the global financial markets. Capital continues to flow to companies that present attractive risk-adjusted returns. Værdi was founded to support the elevation, optimal positioning, and profile of African corporates through the development of their investor relations capabilities. There remains a significant financing deficit across African markets, and we are ardent about improving the ability of companies in Africa to achieve their strategic objectives by expanding their access to capital and supporting the realisation of fair value.
We work with other capital market operators and support clients in meeting their strategic objectives such as accessing or expanding capital, increasing understanding of their story through a strong investment proposition, creating a supportive group of equity and debt holders, achieving sustainable valuations, and implementing efficient IR infrastructure and best practices.
Furthermore, Værdi is an approved value service provider for the Nigerian Exchange Growth Board. The Growth Board is an initiative aimed to support fast growing companies and provide them with a platform to access required capital, develop corporate visibility and put in place the relevant corporate governance mechanisms to aid their growth.
‘Værdi’ is of Danish origin, meaning ‘Value’ and captures the deep-seated and hard-coded ethos of value creation for our clients and broader stakeholder base.
Our logo is the image of Athena, the Greek virgin goddess of reason, intelligent activity, good counsel, arts & literature, courage, inspiration, civilisation, law & justice, strategic warfare, mathematics, strength, strategy, and skill. Athena was known for her excellent planning and purposeful thinking abilities. Practicality, tangible results, and rational thinking are hallmarks of Athena’s particular wisdom. She was fierce and brave in battle, she was the patron of the city of Athens, handcraft, and agriculture. She invented the bridle, which permitted man to tame horses, the trumpet, the flute, the pot, the rake, the plow, the yoke, the ship, and the chariot. She was the embodiment of wisdom, reason, and purity.
We see several parallels in Athena’s legacy and our vision at Værdi. We resonate with her intellectual curiosity, integrity, authenticity, good counsel, creativity, and intelligence.
