As former heads of IR, independent IR consultants, investment bankers, financial analysts, sell side analysts, and portfolio managers, our team, based in Lagos and London, have decades of capital market experience. We have keen understanding of the requirements of capital markets and bring significant expertise and experience, both local and international, to the table with hands-on experience in entrenching best practice investor relations and financial communications
Oluyemisi is the Chief Executive of Værdi Investor Relations. She has extensive experience spanning over 20 years across several roles within the corporate and capital market segments. She currently advises and supports executive management and boards of various companies in achieving their capital market goals, whilst supporting their strategic agenda. Yemisi has significant experience in shareholder/investor relations and management, and is passionate about corporate governance as the bedrock of organisations. She understands critical issues quickly, constructively challenges, and brings value-added perspectives to bear, with a pragmatic, big picture, and result-oriented approach.
Prior to Værdi Investor Relations, she was the pioneer Head of Investor Relations at FBN Holdings Plc. She set up what was the premier corporate IR practice in Nigeria, with expertise in capital market positioning, reputational management, and best practice. She was responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the global IR programme and her scope of influence spanned the Board, Executive Management, and all CEOs at subsidiaries that make up FBN Holdings. Her circle of engagement cut across institutional and private investors (equity and debt), credit rating agencies, sell-side analysts, corporate brokers, consultants, vendors, financial media, regulatory agencies, and shareholder/investors globally.
Other roles include as Vice President, Research (Non-Banking Sectors) at Renaissance Capital Nigeria, and Senior Portfolio Manager at ARM Investment Managers, with research and portfolio management responsibilities.
